Good to know:
The cottage is located on its own island. There is a jetty and a sauna. The code for the key box behind the corner of the house will be provided by By Nordiq in connection with your booking.
Please bring:
Matches, tealights, a flashlight, garbage bags, coffee filters, wool socks, bed linen, kitchen and bath towels, household and toilet paper, charcoal, newspaper for lighting fires, mosquito repellent, an extra battery for your phone, sunscreen, a thermos, etc.
Things to keep in mind:
Smoking indoors and bringing pets are not allowed. There is no electricity on the island. Please wash dishes outdoors. Sort recyclables (glass, deposit items, metal, etc.) on the mainland. Please let us know if anything is missing.
Available on site:
A cooler powered by solar panels. A small gas stove with two burners. Firewood in the shed, along with an axe and a saw. A grill. Dishwashing liquid and cleaning equipment. Duvets and pillows. Kitchen utensils. A wood-burning stove for heating.
Before departure:
Bring in firewood for the next guest and chop it to fit the stove. The toilet bucket in the outhouse must be emptied into the latrine compost. Rinse the bucket and dry it thoroughly.
Sweep and scrub the floors, wipe all surfaces, and air out all duvets and pillows. Clean behind and inside the cooler and under the beds. Heat dishwashing and cleaning water on the gas stove. Do not forget to clean the sauna as well.
Do not leave any personal belongings such as books, tea bags, leftover food, spice jars, or similar items. Empty and soak the ashes. Lock the cottage and return the key to the key box. Make sure all windows are closed before departure.
