These additional travel conditions to SRFs conditions [1] apply between By Nordiq AB, Box 163, 271 24 Ystad and you as specified in the confirmation. The agreement is valid for all types of products where By Nordiq in Sweden AB is the organizer unless otherwise specified.

If you book additional travel services for your trip or holiday through this link, you are NOT covered by the rights applicable to package travel according to Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, our company By Nordiq AB will not be responsible for the correct completion of these additional travel services. In case of problems, contact the relevant service provider.

However, if you book additional travel services via this link (s) within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation of your booking from our company By Nordiq AB, these travel services will, however, form part of a linked travel arrangement. In such a case, By Nordiq AB, in accordance with EU law, has a protection for the repayment of your payments to By Nordiq AB for services that are not fulfilled as a result of By Nordiq AB’s insolvency. Please note that this does not constitute a refund if the service provider concerned ends up in bankruptcy.

1. PRICES

The prices are quoted in Swedish kronor except where otherwise indicated. We reserve the right to make changes due to price and exchange rate changes beyond our control after this date.

 

2. WHEN IS MY BOOKING BINDING?

The purchase/reservation becomes binding as soon as it is confirmed verbally or in writing by the seller. These terms apply from the moment whether you have paid for all, partly, or not at all.
If the products booked with retailers, other booking and payment conditions apply. Be sure to check the conditions.

 

3. WHAT , WHEN AND HOW SHOULD I PAY ?

You must pay the price of the arrangement by the date given in the conditions of the booking. Both by phone and online , you pay according to the terms at the time of booking and only by credit card. To protect and encrypt your credit card details, we use the ”Secure Socket Layer ” technology (SSL).

Please note that for special pricing and special offers, your credit card may be pre-authorized and charged (sometimes without refund ) when booking and confirmation is made. Please check room and price information before you complete your reservation.

 

4. SUPPLYING OF COTTAGES

By Nordiq supplies contact of holiday accommodation between customers and organizers. By Nordiq AB is not the organizer of private cottages.

Upon booking, you will receive a confirmation email from By Nordiq AB. Any further information you will receive from your current operator or from By Nordiq AB in the function of the agency .

Reservations are made on the basis of the description based on information from the organizer. Conditions regarding the final cleaning, final cleaning and linens can be found in the owners Terms and Conditions.

The payment of rent is made via credit card directly at reservation . If you encounter unexpected difficulties during your stay or if the accommodation is not in good condition, you must immediately contact the principal organizer/landlord.

 

5. CANCELLATION INSURANCE

For the reservation, a voluntary cancellation insurance can be taken out when making the reservation. The cancellation insurance applies if you cannot reasonably begin your travel due to acute illness, accident or death suffered by you, travel companion or your immediate family members. Immediate family is defined by the insured’s spouse, children, grand-children, siblings, parents, grandparents, parents-in-law, a person with whom the insured lives in a marital relationship or a travel companion included in the booking. Acute illness is defined by illness that you did not know, could or should have known would occur when booking the trip. Illness must be documented with a valid medical certificate.

Exceptions and conditions:

  • Cancellation insurance cannot be taken out for groups of more than 9 people.
  • Cancellation insurance can only be taken out in connection with a booking.
  • Cancellation must happen no later than the day before arrival. In case of later cancellation, no refund will be received.
  • Cancellation insurance is only valid along with a valid medical certificate and must be sent to us no later than five working days after cancellation. The medical certificate must be completed by an authorized doctor and must state the doctor’s name, telephone number and stamp. The medical certificate must contain: examination date, examination results, diagnosis and that you are unable to travel.
  • In case of cancellation using cancellation insurance, only the trip and not the cancellation insurance is refunded.

We do not reimburse for:

  • Acute worsening of existing disease/chronic condition.
  • Examination, treatment and/or admission which was planned before the trip was booked.
  • Planned operations and related illnesses or medical conditions that arise as a result hereof.

 

6. CANCELLATION COSTS

When cancellation insurance is not valid or purchased

When booking with combination of different product categories, it is always the hardest cancellationrule that applies. If you wish to review, adjust or cancel your reservation, please follow the instructions that are given in the confirmation email. Please note that you may be charged for cancellation costs in accordance with the hotel’s cancellation policy and terms of no-show ! We recommend that you read the terms and conditions carefully before you complete your reservation. Observe that for events and groups there is special terms.

To cancel or change a reservation, the following charges apply, unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation:

– Cancellation and change of hotelroom, Bed & Breakfastroom 

A change or cancellation must be made at the latest 17:00 the day before arrival. If canceled or modified later than 17:00 the day before arrival or a no-show will be charged 100% of the booking price. If you are unable to attend at short notice and out of office hours, you can contact the property directly for the possibility of cancellation. You must then notify By Nordiq within two weekdays.

– Cancellation and change of hostel

A change or cancellation must be made at the latest 14 days before arrival. If canceled or modified later than 14 days before arrival or a no-show will be charged 100% of the booking price. If you are unable to attend at short notice and out of office hours, you can contact the property directly for the possibility of cancellation. You must then notify By Nordiq within two weekdays.

– Cancellation and changes of cottages and apartments

  • *From the day of booking until 70 days before arrival: 10% of the total rental amount , with a minimum SEK 500
  • *From 69 to 40 days before arrival: 25% of the total rental amount, with a minimum SEK 500
  • *From 39 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount
  • (Cancellation and changes does not apply to certain offers and discounts)

– Cancellation and changes of camping

  • *From the day of booking until 40 days before arrival: 10% of the total amount, with a minimum of SEK 500
  • *From 39 to 12 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount, with a minimun of SEK 500
  • *From 11 days to 2 days before arrival: 75% of the total amount.
  • *From one day to 0 days before arrival: 100% of the total amount.

– Cancellation and changes of the packages, activitys, events, tickets, giftcards or transport

Not possible to cancel or change, unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation

Please note! Cancellation via callcentre must take place within our regular officehours . Please note that your cancellation is not valid until you have received a written cancellation confirmation from By Nordiq. If you are unable to attend at short notice and out of officehours you can contact the property directly to check the possibility of cancellation, and you must then communicate this to By Nordiq the next business day. Refunds can not be guaranteed if you cancel directly to the hotel. Please note that certain discounts and offers can not be changed or canceled. Refunds will not made for ” No-show” . Check your booking confirmation you received at time of booking for more information about your booking and your booking conditions.

Special terms for events and groups (group is over 9 persons)

When cancelling or changing a booking for events or groups, the following fees apply, unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation:

– Cancellation for the whole group or parts of the group

  • Up to 35 days before arrival, the booking can be cancelled without incurring a fee.
  • Later than 35 days before arrival, 50 % of the latest reported value of the booking is debited.
  • Later than 21 days before arrival, 75 % of the latest reported value of the booking is debited.
  • Later than 7 days before arrival, 100 % of the latest reported value of the booking is debited.

Charges for cancellationinsurance, invoices and cancellationcosts will not be refunded

 

7. CHANGING A RESERVATION

Changing reservations via callcentre in cases it is possible from terms of the booking conditions is charged 100 SEK in changing fee

 

8. COMPLAINTS

Complaints must be presented to the person responsible of the product such as the hotel, golf course manager etc, or his agent as soon as possible. If you are unable to solve the problem, please contact By Nordiq by phone +46 411 558725 or email info@bynordiq.se

The right to complaint is lost if you do not inform the vendor or the person responsible for the product. If you leave the accomodation, golf course or event and the organizer does not get a reasonable time to solve the problem you forfeit the right to compensation. Claims for compensation must be sent to By Nordiq in writing no later than 30 days after the end of the journey.

 

By Nordiq AB (“BN”) processes personal data that you provide to us. Personal information that will be processed includes, but is not limited to, name, date of birth, gender, address, email address and telephone number. We may also process information that is registered in connection with an order, such as age, special dietary requirements. You submit the personal information yourself in connection with ordering arrangements, creating accounts or other services on the web or by telephone.
